Free timestamp service without the need of additional software.

copyclaim is free timestamp service without the need of additional software. You even don't need to create a user account.Creating a timestamp of your creative work (audio/ video files, pictures, ...) enables you to prove the possession of a digital content at a certain date at a certain time.

By creating digital content, you implicitly own the copyright. By registering your work before anybody else, you will later be able to prove the origin and therefor protect your copyrights
Fair enough! you do NOT upload your files. Only hash values are registered. java applet makes it easy to calculate these unique hash values locally on your own computer.

What is a hash value ?
Hash Algorithms, like the MD5 or SHA, provide the basis for modern cryptography. Also called "fingerprint", hash values are unique for pretty much every existing digital file.

Numly assigns Electronic Serial Numbers / ESNs for all things digital.

Numly assigns Numly Numbers (Electronic Serial Numbers / ESNs) for all things digital. These unique identifiers enable rights statements to be associated with digital content as well as third-party, non-repudiation measures for proof of copyright via real-time verifications.

Numly Numbers are simple to generate and serve as an electronic timestamp of submission. They also allow you to track who is viewing your content and when it is accessed, monitor ratings, and can be used as permalinks ie. http://go.numly.com/27200-060121-189140-97! Another cool outcome of Numly is that your copyrighted content is consolidated no matter where you publish your work. We provide authors and artists with a dynamic Numly Page (or N-Page) that tracks all digital works. This page can be accessed by adding your Numly user to our domain ie. http://numly.com/chris or allow your readers to subscribe to your works no matter where you publish them by adding your Numly user id to our RSS domain ie. http://rss.numly.com/chris
