VoiceThread is an online media album that allows groups of people to make audio and text comments and have them presented so that an entire group's story can be told in one place.The human voice is magic and there is no substitute for it, but we do allow text commenting. Hit the "comment" button just below the image you are viewing, you will then see the prompt to type your message.

One of the nice things you can do when inviting a new person to participate in a VoiceThread is to upload a thumbnail image of them if you have one. Some people are pretty savvy with digital images and uploading them, but many are not, so we allow you to perform this task for them when you first set up a contact. They can always change the image later if they don�t like it, but it ensures that new people have a �face� when they first come to a VoiceThread. If it turns out that they�re already registered with us then we won�t change their thumbnail image.
