Create a Free RSS Feed at RSSPad.

RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication. In its simplest form, it is simply a collection of textual items ordered in descending order from newest to oldest, made available for download at a fixed location on the web. If you are interested in the history of RSS, Wikipedia's entry on its development is available here. If you are interested in its technical specification, you will be able to found it here. If you are interested in putting RSS to use, simply keep reading.

RSS has been put to use in an increasingly wide range of applications, from news syndication to blogging, and has been extended to embrace a wide variety of multimedia. For instance, with the success of the iPod™ platform, the iTunes™-enabled RSS feed is achieving increasing importance in the world of media distribution.
